At Language Arts Academy, our Preschool Program provides a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment where children ages 3 to 4 develop the essential skills needed for lifelong learning.

During these important early years, children become more independent, develop stronger communication skills, build friendships, and begin exploring new academic concepts.

Through our Spanish Immersion Program, hands-on learning experiences, creative activities, and purposeful play help children build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning while strengthening their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical abilities.

What Children Learn and Experience

Spanish Immersion & Language Development

Children develop Spanish vocabulary, listening comprehension, and communication skills through daily conversations, storytelling, songs, games, and interactive classroom activities. Spanish is naturally incorporated throughout the school day.

Early Literacy & Mathematics

Children explore letters, letter sounds, name recognition, numbers, counting, shapes, colors, patterns, sorting, and early problem-solving skills through age-appropriate, hands-on learning experiences.

Social & Emotional Development

Children learn to recognize and express emotions, develop friendships, share, take turns, cooperate with others, resolve simple conflicts, and build positive relationships with teachers and classmates.

Science & Discovery

Through simple experiments, nature exploration, sensory activities, and observation, children discover the world around them while developing curiosity, critical thinking, and early scientific reasoning.

Creativity & Imagination

Art, music, dramatic play, storytelling, and creative projects encourage children to express themselves, explore their imagination, and develop their individual interests and talents.

Physical Development & Independence

Children strengthen fine and gross motor skills through outdoor play, movement, building, drawing, cutting, and hands-on activities. Daily routines encourage independence, responsibility, personal hygiene, and self-help skills.

Preparing for Pre-K and Kindergarten

Our Preschool Program helps children develop the foundational academic, social, and emotional skills needed for a successful transition into Pre-K and, eventually, kindergarten.

Through structured routines, teacher-guided instruction, independent exploration, and meaningful play, children learn to follow directions, participate in group activities, communicate their needs, solve problems, and become increasingly independent.

Our teachers recognize that every child develops at their own pace and provide individualized guidance to support each child's unique strengths, interests, and learning needs.
